Styled and True: 5 tips that I’ve learned from fashion

There is no doubt that COVID 19 has reeked havoc on our very way of life and we are experiencing trauma of various degrees. However, there are 5 things that style and fashion has taught me throughout our time in quarantine

Dress with Intentions. Many get dressed for work or special occasions but with current events many have opted for sweats and yoga pants because there isn’t a obvious intention of work, weddings or graduation parties. img_7736(1)3367105188667812515.jpgGetting dressed during the pandemic can help with a positive mindset, help set personal goals and accomplish personal goals. Being dressed means you’ll be Zoom meeting ready…oh and don’t for get your trousers. Choosing to get dress will give you an opportunity to play with your style and put those fabulous pieces into rotation. So whether you getting the mail or making a trip the grocery store dressed with intention.

If you look good, you feel good: This has always been my personal style motto. However, it has been really tested during this quarantine. Emotions are running high and there are so many unknowns. However we can choose how we’re going to approach our days and I’m choosing to do so with style

Style is in the details: Accessories can defiantly make the outfit! The needed and (sometimes) required accessory of the season is the face mask. Though they can be uncomfortable, it has been a valuable in curbing the

virus. This new accessory is being produced in so many cute prints and by so many small businesses and even some big names in fashion. Do your part stay safe and support.

 

Back to basics: Just like every wardrobe is built on the foundation of classic pieces so is life. Our time in quarantine has given so many people the opportunity to focus on the basics. Spending time with God,  our families, organizing and self improvement.
