I don’t care what your political affiliation is, you must admit that the amount of style flowing out of DC during the inauguration was incredible. Michelle Obama looked amazing in her purple monochromatic ensemble which was styled by Sergio Hudson. Her look, her walk, and her presence was powerful, classic, and elegant. Rewind to 2009 when Michelle Obama made J.Crew a must-have brand and she did it again with her look today. Dr. Jill Biden looked every bit of the part of “First Lady” in her ocean blue tweed designed by Alexandra O’Neill. She looked regal, oh and can we talk about those heels she was wearing that appropriately polished off her look.
Lover her or not, Jennifer Lopez aka J.Lo’s look was fire! From the herringbone pants and trench to the all-white look during her performance. Personally, I love Jennifer Lopez’s looks, she taps into many sides of her personality.
And this post would not be complete without addressing Madam Vice President Kamala Harris looking powerful and proud in her purple. Her dress is designed by a very talented designer Christopher John Rodgers who provided a very chic, elegant, and commanding look.
The stunning looks have highlighted and catapulted the careers of some very talented designers. The eyes of Fashion are now watching for what they will do next.
